What: Operations/Facilities Management Assistant

Who: The Studio Theatre

Responsibilities:
The Operations/Facilities Management Assistant will:
- Assist with accounting records
- Assist with space use
- Assist with contractor scheduling
- Assist with facility inspections
- Research and order materials
- Assist the Facilities Manager with the operation, maintenance and repair of Studio Theatre buildings and equipment
Qualifications needed:
- Strong judgment and management skills to prioritize multiple tasks while paying attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as part of a coordinated team
- Ability to work under deadlines in a fast paced environment
Flexible full or part-time. This position may also be used to earn college credit.
Immediate opening.
Commitment until July 1, 2011.

What: Custodian and Maintenance Technician - Full Time

Who: The Community of Hope

Details: The Facility Maintenance / Custodian Technician is responsible directly to the Facilities Director but some supervision and oversight may come from the Lead Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for ensuring that the facility is safe, orderly and in good repair. This responsibility includes, but not limited to the following duties: simple and emergency maintenance repairs, cleaning, trash removal, moping, landscaping, furniture moving and disposal, coordinating set up and break down for events, vacuuming, stripping and waxing of floors, painting, apartment restoration, delivery, pick up and inventory of building supplies, dry wall and electrical repairs.
Education: High School Diploma / GED.
Additional Qualifications: Must have at least two years experience or certification in facilities management and equipment management. Flexibility and cleaning experience a must. Bilingual preferred.
Salary: $ 15.00 hour

• Answers and directs incoming calls to facilitate communications.

• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, and advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or WordPerfect.

Essential Experience and Technical Skills of the Administrative Assistant I
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant role desired, some college education may be considered in lieu of work experience.
• Proficiency with software and technology including MS Office Suite specifically knowledge of Word, (Excel and Power Point a plus). Should be experienced in creating simple spreadsheets.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with people in person, on the phone, and in writing.
• Professional and courteous oral and written English is required.

Details: Our expeditor is the liaison between the Front Of House and Back Of House
Calling the menu items over a microphone to the line cooks, coordinating the orders as per the servers tickets, quality control & portion control. Must have high volume experience, work well under pressure and able to multi-task!
