As a Special Security Representative (SSR) at NCIS Security you will possess knowledge of the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Program. The position will support the SSO in accomplishment of tasks directly associated with the SCI Program that includes but is not limited to:

* Developing, advising and maintaining SCI policies and procedures

* Visitor control, retrieving and processing visitor clearances and maintaining the SCI visitor control databases

* Overseeing and providing recommendations during the construction or modification of sensitive Compartmented Information facilities. Prepare fixed facility check list.

* Conducting and tracking indoctrinations, travel briefings, and debriefings. Issuing courier cards.

* Preparing, submitting and tracking SCI nominations

* The SSR may be asked to perform other security functions as is necessary to meet mission requirements.

Position Requirements:

* 4 years of security and one year related directly to special security programs experience.

* BA/BS Degree with related discipline or have a combination of formal security education and professional training to include physical security, special security and special access programs.

* Must be excellent communicator, writer, be computer literate and a skilled staff officer

Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DOD TS/SCI clearance based upon an SSBI completed within the last 5 years. Must submit to CI polygraph

Qualifications:

Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience and ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of DOD, DOE, or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DOD, DOE, or other government sectors. Degrees Bachelor's Degree Equivalent

Functions as the IDCD Project Manager’s assistant for all construction field operations.
