It’s tax season again! If you haven’t filed your tax return yet I’d like to let you know about a FREE resource for you to take advantage of. The DC EITC Campaign is offering several free tax preparation resources throughout the city.
In addition to helping you file, they will also help identify which tax credits you qualify for. This year, the maximum EITC credit you can receive as a single adult with no dependents is $457. This amount increases to between $3000 and $5600 if you have qualifying dependent children.
